Thread ends, adhesives, and other accumulations are common issues in the textile industry. Using dry ice cleaning can easily remove these accumulations without the need for disassembly and without damaging the equipment. Dry ice cleaning utilizes solid CO2 in the form of recycled dry ice particles, mixed with compressed air, and accelerated through a high-speed nozzle onto the surface to be cleaned. Through the multiple effects of kinetic energy, thermodynamics, and gas expansion, the dirt is loosened from the surface and subsequently flushed away.
Because dry ice particles are relatively soft compared to other forms of blasting media, they can provide gentle yet powerful non-abrasive cleaning, improving asset utilization and extending equipment life. Additionally, dry ice can effectively clean precision equipment and sensitive components (such as sensors and circuits) without causing damage.
